Leg Bone Id

Pool Man

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

I just found this yesterday. My pictures could be alot better, but I'm also way to curious to wait for it to dry or add any lighting! The bone was found in late pleistocene material(I believe). It was broken in half , but should be easy to repair.

Thanks !

Oh yeah, might help to know that it is 15" long.

I'd go with tibia too, but I'm not astute enough to tell whether I'm looking at an adult deer bone vs. juvie camel bone at times, etc. Keep plugging away. It appears that you have some worthwhile sites.
