By the way, Bobby, the plastic lobster is actually a plastic crayfish....pronounced crawfish in this part of the world.  They are a very popular meal here in Louisiana.  (not with me, mind you.  I consider them fish bait) :)

Glad to hear you are on the mend and best wishes for a speedy recovery!

*Real crayfish are a very popular meal here....not plastic crayfish.  Sorry, it is Monday :)

I'll try anything once.

Bit of ketchup and it'll be fine.

Ketchup?!  What planet did you say you were from?

Crayfish are like mini lobsters. Would you go into a fine restaurant and ask for ketchup for your lobster?  You'd be tossed out and forbidden to return!

The mere thought, agh!!!

Also known as crawdads. ;)

I love your passion, even as I question your taste

Actually, I have no idea what they taste like so I should not pass judgement.  I am allergic to shellfish and never wanted to see if that extended to freshwater shellfish..so I have never tried them.  A pity too, because shrimp, lobster, crawfish eaters make it look and sound soooooooo yummy. :)

Oh yes, but not in many, many years.  And then it was when I was helping a friend castrate some calfs.  His dad cooked them up that night.  They were very good.  The Nut Hut...... I think I like that owner's sense of humor :)

Once they're peeled, they are no longer shellfish. ;)

Yummmm!!!

No, no, no.

I'd never resort to putting ketchup on lobster or even crayfish.

But ketchup goes very well with plastic.

Like the cheese they put in burgers, for example.

Agree. Also the buns that are used for burgers/hot dogs are more like edible napkins.

Maybe with enough ketchup and a soft paper napkin... otherwise: bait.

Bobby, he looks quite a bit more impressive than when I bought him!

I was going to step up to the 50p model, but he was too big for the envelope :(

In SC, we like our plastic crawfish with a little size to them.
