Hi Jess

I am the most curious of collector, maybe even a collector of collections if you like. :)

I always when visiting museums exit though the gift shop and too buy postage of dinosaurs or their collections. I don’t usually keep the cards but send to friends. Please if you get the time can post some of your postcards here I would love to see them.

Cheers Bobby

Okay.  I will get some of my postcards together and scan them maybe over the weekend.

Jess

Adam, @Peat Burns Tony did not tell you that he was using the ginormous brachiopods from Sylvania- lol, that thing will weigh 5 pounds.

:hearty-laugh: bahahaha!  Go big or go home....  Megastrophia for the decades, Gigantoproductus for the our fathers, and a Triassic petrified log from the Petrified Forest for the Crucifix!

I think it would be funner for this to have 540 pieces with no picture or instructions for assembly.

Have a few extra unassociated bones thrown in the box and see what you come up with.

still though, why are dimetrodons put in with and called dinosaurs when in fact they are not?

Cause they are cool and like to hang out with the popular crowd.

And to make it more realistic, run over the pieces with a truck until they are all fragmented and have to be glued together prior to assembly :megalodon_broken01:

The kit comes with a little tiny bottle of consolidant.

And some scissors to trim the roots growing in the cracks.

To most of the general population they could be seen as one of the most iconic of the dinosaur . This probably is because of the early toy market using their distinctive look and not carving about the education side. They are the coolest of all the prehistoric creatures  . :)

Or use the USPS and post them to another city.

Same result. ;)

They were also pretty easy to imitate when needing a dinosaur for scenes in the early movies by taping a cardboard sail onto an Iguana. ;)

Made a small shelve to day just to display some of my vintage dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures that I got from Tony and Doren. I included a laser cut and hand painted cartouche just to set my display off. It looks fun.
