Unfortunately,  I don't think this is a tooth. 

I don't see any signs of roots, and no clear chewing surface. 

Maybe a phosphate pebble?

 

Hopefully some of our Florida hunters will weigh in on this.

Man, thats interesting. I dont know what that is from these pics...can we get some other angles? Seems to be pretty well polished by the surf/water. My initial reaction is it isnt a tooth but...closer inspection may yield some other clues.

I agree with it not being a tooth. That shape in the top pic looks similar to a piece of turtle shell:)

Every once in a great while it's not just a big rock down there!

Also not seeing any diagnostic features of a tooth, i'm afraid. :(

Looks more like a fragment of a joint bone, like a wrist or ankle. Pretty hard to tell though.
