Possible Mastodon

Hello!  I was hoping that you could help me identify some things that I found.  A couple years ago I found a Mastodon at the beach in North Carolina and it was identified by the helpful people on TFF.

I believe that I have found several fossils that could be partial Mastodons.  So that I won't confuse you with multiple fossils / pics I will just post this one below.

I think that the one below contains multiple teeth?

I am talking to my childs 3rd grade class next week and I am bringing in some of my finds.. I don't feel comfortable bringing anything in that I haven't had identified so any help you could provide it greatly appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to check out my fossils. :)

Editing to add location: Everything was found at the beach  in North Carolina  -- South Eastern NC - wrightsville beach.

That would be one single tooth, broken and worn.

Ha, that last picture played a trick on my eyes. For a second It looked like it was levitating.:P

It looks like a chunk of phosphatic rock. Is it from Wrightsville? There was recent dredging there.

Ya I guess you're right. Upon much closer scrutiny, it doesn't look so toothish. Hard to see the details on a phone.

Al Dente - It sure was Wrightsville Beach... In fact, I believe you commented on my post from a couple months ago regarding some shark teeth I found due to the dredging.  You make it out this way on occasion????

I don’t normally go to Wrightsville. I just went to see the dredging. There are other beaches I prefer going to.
