Diggler Posted May 17, 2018 Share Posted May 17, 2018 Hi there, This is my first post so please excuse any errors. I found this fossil in Brook Bay on the Isle of Wight last year. I would really appreciate some help in identifying it. Someone who runs a fossil shop there suggested it could be part of the jaw of a lepidotes? Any info gratefully received. Your specimen definitely has the look of Lepidotes, a semionotid fish from the Jurassic and Cretaceous of Europe and South America.
