Love your seed collection from Sheppey and the nice Arucaria.   Did you collect them?  Some of my favorite finds in the Hell Creek include seeds.   Like all the different forms they take.

The Sheppey stuff is super, i still have one or two somewhere.

I also love the North Dakota piece and the Araucaria.

The poem in the wood is also very sweet. :)

Hi Frank thank you. I did , Sheppey has quite a good variety of fossils. Star fish, plant material, crabs, lobster and shark teeth. Do you have a post with the seeds from Hell Creek. I like to see them. :)

Indeed, impressive collection.  How old is the plant plate from Whitby? I understand all the ammo's from there are Jurassic, but that piece looks Carboniferous.

Thank you I don’t know My friend gave to me a couple of weeks ago as a late birthday present . When he gets back from holiday I get more details.

Eric you maybe able to help me I purchased years ago a really nice small collection from around about the Victorian time. Going by the old labels that they have copper plate handwriting. Most of the collection has the labels but 3 plant specimens have not. They are very nice so I was happy to keep them regardless of their lost history. I will add them here and tag you . Thank you.

The first one has become a bit squished during preservation, but I think it could be Pecopteris.

The second one maybe Sphenopteris.

And finally, i agree on Lepidodendron.

That Neuropteris leaf is gorgeous. :)

Wonderful!

I think it's fascinating to see the plants that were providing shelter, food and maybe homes to some of the dinosaurs and other animals living at Hell Creek during this time. :)

Help please on some lost IDs.

The next three are from an old Victorian collection but they came with no labels. @Tidgy's Dad @Wrangellian @Nimravis

These don't exactly look like Mazon material.. do you think they are more likely from one of the English Carboniferous sites (being from a Victorian collection)?

Thank you I also don’t think it Mazon Creek Material and Ralph did not recognise it and he knows that site. My big problem is I am really dyslexic and struggle with reading papers. So any help is really appreciated.  In the old collection  is  piece form Norwich crags in Norfolk. I am going to start there. Thank you
