Looking forward to meeting my fellow Singaporean collectors! Do PM me if you are a Singaporean, or an overseas fossil-collector coming here for a holiday!

Lovely pieces, Bobby - I think this one might be Coniopteris. (I love the Sheppey seeds too. :) )

Very nice wood, I really like the crosssections

Thank you very much, you can see the grain on some of the woods this detail or information  can be lost in fossilisation. :dinothumb:

I'm glad you like the leaf - there are not many people who appreciate fossilised plants :) (I like them, too).

Actually there was one more piece of flora in the package - the heaviest slab was with Jurassic plants from Poland - a kind of grass (they are called Czekanowskia rigida).

Yeah it is really cool but it got damaged in transit. It is very fragile and needs stabilising before I add it to my collection. When I am up for it I sort it out. Very fragile piece. :dinothumb:

Oh, :( I thought I paked it so well. Im' sorry. It is mudstone, so indeed it is super breakable- only the large pieces survived transport and when they did, I soaked them in shellac. If the piece is damaged beyond repair, let me know, I still have one more at home.

You packed the box really well but heavy and fragile fossils are a real problem to post. I will sort out soon it will be fine. Thank you my freind.

Wow! I love the Asterophyllites, and the Calamites near the top of the page, too! :)

The more modern leaves are very nice as well!

I used to go collecting on the spoil tips of Kilmersdon back in the '80s .

Expect it's all been landscaped now.

Thank you Adam. There is some great fossil spots in Somerset. I don’t know Kilmersdon myself but it is always sad to lose sites of interest. Have you still got any examples of Kilmersdon fossils ?

cheers my friend :dinothumb:
