ynot
Welcome to TFF! It would help if You can be more specific about the location of the find, "in a field" does not tell Us much. It will also help if You post a straight on picture of the chewing surface. Regards, Tony 1 Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough." Innocentx
Where in New Jersey did you find this? It looks a bit like antler material. "Journey through a universe ablaze with changes" Phil Ochs
Auspex
It is kinda' antler-tine shaped, but appears to have an enamel 'rind' on it... Very odd; it rings no bells for me in my mental tooth files, except as possibly a broken canine. MVP
Thanks for the replies so far. Found it at a soccer field in Moorestown, NJ (southeast NJ). Here’s a photo of the chewing surface.
ynot
My first thought is a horse incisor, but not sure. Maybe @Harry Pristis will have an idea. Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys."
