The ground had turned to pig slop, but when chasing echinoids, I like it that way for enhanced contrast. Any advantage these old eyes can get is worth exploiting. This Phymosoma texanum was showing its good side for this photo. The other side was missing. No worries as we scored 9 high grade, perfect ones plus a score or more of high grade u-prep-m Heteraster texanus echs for gift or trade. Grüße, Daniel A. My gifts and trades tend to involve unprepped material, for 2 reasons: 1. I don’t have liberties of time to prep what I give away, and 2. I really prefer to make finds personally, but when I can’t, I prefer unprepped material in trade so I can at least feel some small measure of personal equity in the process that brought it from the strat column to the shelf. 1 Grüße, Daniel A.
