Dpaul7
Hello! Did some fossil shopping locally; picked up this nice piece. All I know from the store is, Ammonite - TImor - Indonesia. Is it a Ceratite ammonite? I thought perhaps with that pattern, it could be. Any idea on age? Triassic? Many thanks in advance!
Tidgy's Dad
Looks like a ceratite to me. Not sure which one. Very nice, i like the Permian transitional specimens. Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.
Ludwigia
I'm not very versed in this fauna, but check out these albums. They might be a help: 2 Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Roger http://www.steinkern.de/

Dpaul7
I am thinking this one looks more Permian. I can tell what it is NOT - but I'll defer a species identification for now. LOVE those photos!
goatinformationist
What beautiful color. I would have picked it up for that alone. Well done.
