Crazyhen
These round objects are found in Ganzhou with dinosaur eggs. As far as I understand, they’re not Man-made. They are very round and of the same size. What are they? Eggs or concretion?
Tidgy's Dad
No sign of egg shell texture and the conchoidal fracture make me think concretions. Perfectly round, white concretions are not unusual and can get pretty large. This one is Palaeocene from the Moeraki Formation in New Zealand and may have taken as long as 4 million years to form! Some smart dinos liked to put fake nests/eggs out to fool the egg eaters.. 1 Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough." -Andy-
Not eggs for sure. Maybe concretion. 1 Looking forward to meeting my fellow Singaporean collectors! Do PM me if you are a Singaporean, or an overseas fossil-collector coming here for a holiday!
