Does anyone know what this fossil is? It might be a pseudo fossil. It was found in Liberty, MO, USA. Pennsylvanian. Fossils found near it include crinoids, shells, and other marine life.

Interesting...  but my hunch is plant debris. The rock seems to be a sandstone, so probably shallow water conditions - bits of vegetation do end up in environments like that.

Any chance of getting a clear close-up, just to check?

Yeah, all those are plant material.

Happy hunting,
