Horse or a Bos tooth?

Pozdrav!

Found this today after a heavy rain in my garden,not sure if this is a bos or a horse tooth.I try with burning test and it really is a fossil :) .

Definitely bovid.  The scorch test doesn't work very well on teeth because enamel and dentin don't contain much collagen.

Darko...

 

Because you only have a relatively small part of the tooth, Harry Pristis' diagnosis as 'bovid' is probably as good as you're going to be able to get.
