Mike from North Queensland 382 Posted June 17, 2018 Interesting but a least my home is on dry land and not to far from the coast line. Makes you think that there would most likely have been another land mass on the other side of earth that has disappeared under those still existing with tectonic plate movement. Raggedy Man 835 Posted June 25, 2018 Here is an interestin website that allows you to put an address in the search box from 750 million years ago until present and allows you to see it as it was in that frame. Have fun! http://dinosaurpictures.org/ancient-earth#

Wrangellian 2,489 Posted June 30, 2018 Fun! I don't know why the left and right arrows have to skip an increment each time, but at least you can use the selector at the top to see all the increments. Also I don't know why they couldn't trace Wrangellia a little further back than 240mya, I know there are rocks at least 300myo here. If they weren't sure of the exact location at 300mya, couldn't they just make their best guess, and tweak it later when they get better data?
JimB88 307 Posted July 5, 2018 Neat! My house was dry for most of the Phanerozoic, exception being the Ordovician and part of the Silurian and Devonian!
