Bone guy
Does this tooth check out as Rex or Nano? The seller identifies it as Nano, but the tooth looks thick like Rex teeth. I need help with IDs between Rex and Nano because their teeth are so similar. Its 1.5 inches long, found from Hell creek. Help would be appreciated
BonuFrailman
The curve and serrations look like nano to me. The tip also doesn’t seem to be as robust as a Rex tooth. I’d say it’s highly likely to be a nano tooth.
Troodon
Agree I would lean more toward Nano than Rex.
CBchiefski
I would agree, either a Nano or very small Rex, depending on if you consider Nano valid. The tooth as a whole is narrow with a very pronounced curvature and looks to have broken near where the root would be making it rather small overall in size.
