Thanks for the help :)

Opalised fossils are the best: a wonderful mix between paleontology and mineralogy!

Looks super better than most I've seen.

Here is Fossilworks page anything that strikes you that you would like to add?

Thanks :) Yeah, maybe sister taxa and synonyms? I'd have to dig a bit through the papers for that info - which I don't mind

One thing that I would add, that is lacking in almost all labels/notes with fossils is: who identified the fossil using what resources. An ammonite fossil identified by a degreed paleontologist with a specialty in ammonites holds more weight than a dealer who specializes in sulphides. For many of my fossils I would say that I identified them using XYZ papers/books. @Fossildude19 (A good feature to add to collections.)

Also, do not preprint all of your specimen cards to fill out with ink. I find that there is often too much or too little space to write in each section or point. Write them on your computer so that you can vary the amount of space for each section or point.

Consider taking a photo of each fossil to keep with their info.

What is MKFE?: Mons Klint ?????

My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned.

Thanks for the idea, John.  I like it. :dinothumb:

For the time being, I would add that information to the  Extra info area.  :)

I always record the GPS coordinates of my finds, although they are not something I typically share with others.   One set of coordinates that can get me back to a dig site is usually enough, although if it is a large site I might record more than one set.
