Member of the Month - July 2018 - Bobby Rico

For most of us, we are at least ankle-deep into summer (and perhaps knee deep in grass to be mowed :D ). The forests, gardens, and glades are in their full pageantry of colour and splendour. For some, it is the scent of sunscreen and the sight of beachwear that dominates, or perhaps gathering with friends and family around the BBQ under azurean skies, or citronella candles burning bright while fireflies flicker in the dusk. Hot, sunny days are here again as the year is half over. But it is also time to announce our Member of the Month for July! By unanimous staff vote, the MOTM crown will be worn by --

A little over a year ago, our Lad of Leicestershire and Bearded Briton joined us, and there is absolutely no doubt that there is hardly any member here who has not encountered his kindness, enthusiasm, and ingenuity here on TFF. His love of fossils and even plastic dinosaurs is matched perhaps only by his love of living nature, too, as they all seem to thrive in his lush garden plot. And, of course, being artistically, creatively gifted. :)

And who can forget his cleverness? Be it in how he deftly wields the trademark English humour, or repurposes an old bell jar for displaying his enviable collection? Helpful, affable, and humble, our Bobby is an all around cracking good chap. As a highly active member here, you can spot him always sending a kind welcome to newcomers, helping out with an ID, and engaged in our surge in contests and auctions. A kinder soul ye may not meet often!

Bobby, Thanks for all you do and contribute here on the Forum!

Congratulations Sir! Wear this Crown with joy as you earned it!

Do tell Mrs Rico that you have been coronated for your efforts and presence here, but just don't lord it over any of your subjects - just wave like the Queen. :D:P

Here is your opportunity to tell us your story - about your passion for fossils, and how you came to TFF!

On behalf of the staff here on TFF, congratulations!
