PMA
I found the following piece in Ahlsburg, Lower Saxony, Germany. It's from the middle triassic Muschelkalk formation and looks a bit like a tooth, maybe Nothosaurus? The brownish piece is about 1.5 cm long. Pemphix
Difficult to tell from just one photo. Possible, yes.
belemniten
Why not a piece of a rib? Many greetings from Germany ! Have a great time with many fossils Regards Sebastian
Miocene_Mason
I believe nothosaurs have rather skinny teeth for hunting fish. It does look like bone though, perhaps not enough bone to be identifiable. “...whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been and are being evolved.” ~ Charles Darwin Happy hunting, Mason
Taogan
I can't see any tapering and I can't see the tip, that means it would be broken part of a huge tooth, probably too big for nothosaur. Not sure what it is though, we need a few more angles.
Pemphix
That is the problem with having not enough photos. Some more would help to determine (especially the ends of the fragement and the surface). Size is not an argument - i have seen teeth from Nothosaurus giganteus with around 10cm length - fragments shows that it could be even more. Striation on the surface is possible on some kind of ribs, too so it could be a rib-fragment as well. But without any more photos not to determine.
