Tyrannosaur Tooth being Sold

Recommended Posts

Thoughts on this Tyrannosaur tooth for sale from the Aguja Formation of Texas.  2"  Seller indicates some resto has been done to the tip to make it complete.

:doh!:   "some" resto wow.   I've indicated where the resto has been done to the tip.  You can decide what "some" means.  Tooth is missing serrations.  Shape of resto on the tip is all wrong, looks more like a Trex tip not a Campanian Tyrannosaurid which is much more pointed.

Yes...For a novice its always best to obtain input from more experienced collectors.  This forum is a great place for that.
