Thanks Tim ... the road less traveled has some benefits.  The sore muscles are less exciting however.

A real beaut Brett. Congrates! I'd probably squeal like a little girl if I found that one.

Can you give us a shot of the labial side?

Another tooth today from Summerville SC area ... a creek find with the blade visible on the bottom of the creek. No in situ pic unfortunately, I'm just too grabby .... 4.5 inches.  Luck all the way.  My first complete tooth.

Haha ... I think I was debating immediately if risking getting struck by lightning by the approaching storm was worth looking more in the area.  My survival instincts won out that day. But only by   | |   this much.

During the week .. I'm testing the theory.

So back to the Savannah river ... I've been trying to go out at least twice a week to break up the work of refinishing all 15 of the my house's old windows.  That's 105 panes of glass ? .. for those of you counting. (remove lead paint/glazing etc .. refinish-repaint-repeat)

So, I found what is essentially the equivalent to seeing a unicorn.

A fairly non-worn with a sharp edge (though broken) Parotodus benedini.  2.75 in on the slant.  I was not in a million years expecting it and I don't suspect I will see one from this location ever again.
