Could this be a coral or something similar from the contact between the Austin Chalk and Eagleford Shale formations some 90 mya?

I'm not sure what that is - it does have the overall shape/look of a solitary coral (and there are solitary scleractinian corals, so it is possible) BUT (1) it's a lot smaller than the corals I've seen before, and (2) it has a weird surface texture...

 

Question for any/all - would beekite be a possibility to explain the weird surface texture?

Possible, but would need much closer pictures to tell.
