Darktooth Posted July 14, 2018 Share Posted July 14, 2018 Ok, I admit that I dropped the ball on this one. I fully intended on promoting my local gem and fossil show months ago. But I kept procrastinating and putting it off and eventually forgot. Well this weekend the show is on, and me and the boys did a little shopping today. My budget was a modest one as we spent wnough on our trip to Ocean City. Plus Pappa treated himself to a top of the line fly fishing rod that was discounted at almost half off. ( it was still expensive). So I went to the show today with sharkteeth, trilos, tools, and display cases on my mind. Not sure what I wanted more. Just looking for the most bang for the few bucks I had. There are two fossil dealers that have been coming for years so I headed rigbt over to take a gander. The one Gentleman owns a shop in Hamburg New York. The other gentleman I believe, lives in Jersey. This fella, had just what the doctor ordered. Very nice quality sharkteeth at qhat I fwlt were fair prices. Now as much as I like large impressive sharkteeth, I can be just as happy with smaller perfect teeth. So considering the money I had I went with smaller really nice teeth. I also bought 2 riker mounts. Here is my score. These teeth are awesome in my opinion. Also I asked, and checked for repairs or restoration. The dealer was respectable enough to show me ones that were and those were labeled as such. I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie. I guess I should mention that the boys had their own money and bought themselves some goodies. Dylan picked up a nice Triceratops tooth while Devin stuck with Gems. Thanks! The dealer had some killer auriculatus teeth that were in the $40- 80 price range, a real nice Alopias grande, and quite a few Edestus. Dylan bought a triceratops tooth, an ice age coin, and a carved turtle which is not pictured. The turtle is for his Mom and I don't know where he put it. Devin bought a garnet crystal, amethyst crystal, a heart shape rose quartz, a carved owl, turtle, and dolphin for his mom. Plus I added a pic of my best self found megs and makos from Calvert Cliffs in one of the riker mounts that I bought. I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie.
