adammaher
hey guys im new to looking for fossils i was just wondering if these two piece's could be coprolite the first (brown one) seems to have scales on it and high in calcium as my tongue sticks to it this one was found in a Tailrace behind a snarge, the second seems too have alot of bone fragments in it but do not stick to my tongue but i think its because it was found on a rocky beach and got tumbled both we're found in petty harbor Newfoundland, Canada Edited July 15, 2018 by adammaher miss spelling
ynot
Welcome to TFF! Sorry, but neither is a coprolite or any type of fossil. The first piece is metamorphic rock. The white parts are probably feldspar. The second piece looks like a quartz vein. Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough."
