Newbie with another fossil I hope

Found this while hunt native American artifacts. It looks like a shell of some kind. Half I'm sure is chart. Please identify.

I thought the entire rock looks like a fossilized clam or oster of some kind. It was found in limestone ground. Sorry about the pics its as good a camera as I have. Here r a couple more.

It looks like it's mostly Ordovician rocks in your area. It's possible it could be a clam.  I recently found some Triassic ones that looked just like that and were covered with matrix, but the shell material is visible around the margins on mine.  I can't tell on yours from the photos.
