Troodon
This morning I noticed a Spinosaur foot claw for sale and on the surface looked like a very good purchase. Closer examination revealed a couple of concerns. First the proximal end of the claw is all weathered away to the point that diagnostic features on the ventral surface are missing. Second the seller claims no resto but I'm very concerned about the tip. There is a change in texture and color in the area I have marked. Caution.
caldigger
That tip does indeed look like it has been built with putty and crudely shaped with a sander/ grinder and not very well I may add!
SULLY
I saw this this morning and almost contacted the seller. I would bet money that tip has been restored. I’ve bought enough stuff from that area that I’m unfortunately getting ready good at picking out the garbage
