Icestar
I saved the best for last, a large rock full of shells! I know, still not terribly exciting, but at least it's not another coral. Any idea what kind of shells these are from, and what era? Some of them are pretty badly damaged, but there's a handful that are mostly intact. Also, this is actually from south Kansas near Arkansas City, not the usual Michigan/Indiana. It was found in a recently-tilled cornfield. ynot
Sorry, but I know nothing on brachiopods. Maybe @Tidgy's Dad can help. 2 Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys."
