Surrounded by Rocks

RJB

Recommended Posts

Even though ive moved and sold lots of stuff off this desk, im still surrounded by rocks when I do the computer stuff.   Having a stroke really sucks, but just look at all this rock cra-p surrounding me.  Gee gads!  Dang it all to heck!  :)    I think I can live with it.  I especially love the big crab above and look at it just about every morning with my coffee.   I was also out in my garage this morning rearanging things and cleaning up to make for more room and ran into this rather large Diplomystus I had forgotten about.  Still have to get this one prepped out.

I kinda feel challenged by this very wonderful desk view.  Anyone else care to send in their good morning, wake up desk scene?

Gotta admit that my own is covered in rock dust and old tomes.

Best to all.

Awesome! Got a few hundred million years represented there.

Love the little heteromorphs on the left. Did you find those yourself?

Those look like Ltuuites from China, so I doubt he found them himself!

I'd like to see a closer shot of those - are they polished or natural? I've got one natural one mostly free of matrix.. Two on one piece I've never seen before.

Oh heck, at least you can see that there's a desk under there.  Although it appears your keyboard could use a bit of vacuuming. Great pieces.

RJB, I like your desk! Its very similar to mine concerning the amount of fossils and rocks. But much more beautifull fossils then mine!

Yes, Lituites from China.  Had this for sale some time ago.  No takers.  I will post it again someday.  There is really only 3 items on this desk that I will keep.

Nope, it has to be the lamp, the book and the box of tissues.

Ron, Suddenly, you got my complete attention,  There must be 20 items on your desk... and I have some envy designs on at least 12 or 13 or 14.

It must be nice having a crab bigger than the speakers. Especially a crab you prepped yourself. Sure is worth admiring every morning. You did good.

Start the day with a smile and get it over with.

Those are top of the line in the newest micro speaker technology. It's only a two inch crab. ;)
