Bbusse
I've loved finding rocks and fossils my whole life. the last few months I've decided to learn more about what I'm finding. Any help would be appreciated this fossil I believe is honeycomb coral but it looks like it has turned into quartz possibly calcite. I haven't polished the piece yet it's still the way it was found. ynot
Is a tabulate coral. Others here can be more specific than I can be. But they will want a location it was found, this information is vital to a good identification. Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough."
