Found this on a beach near Anglesea in Victoria 

wondering what it might be ?!

maybe a track fossil? but im no expert ;)

I agree with Tony - Geologic,... not a fossil.

Does not look like it to Me.

Maybe pictures of the side and back can illuminate the discussion.
