I see honeycomb! Bone?

I just found this down on the yorkshire coast.

Is it bone?

 

One side looks like bone the other looks slightly different.

Local knowledge! - tricksy bone (i.e not the usual saurians) from around there (Whitby area) is nearly always Gyrosteus :D.

All of them :P - but haven't been for a year due to health issues (nearly sorted now however :)).

 

Belemnites are my main targets - Saltwick, Ravenscar and Runswick/Kettleness are probably the favourites. Not forgetting Robin Hoods Bay and Saltburn for Lower Lias ones...

I’ve not actually seen that many full belemnites at saltwick yet, loads of seaworn and broken bits.
