DPS Ammonite
I see that members are asking to bring back TFF t shirts: link. I thought that we might come up with a TFF motto or a slogan for the t shirt. I'm sure that this half serious post will spiral out of control. Which is your favorite? Can you come up with other good ideas? We place fossils on pedestals. In fossils we trust. We "dig" fossils. We live our lives in the past so that fossils can live in the present. Where fossils come to life. We ID fossils so that you don't have to. Paleontology on steroids. Ignorance is our enemy. Where ignorance goes extinct. From here to the Precambrian. We brake for ammonites. (Have an ammonite/s, tentacles extended, walking across the road.) We brake for rock outcrops/ roadcuts. From Archaeopteryx to Zuniceratops. We never met a fossil that we didn't like. End pareidolia now! Where pareidolia comes to die. Where fossils are ID'ed. Where fossickers lick fossils. The only good fossil is a dead fossil. Because a fossil is a terrible thing to waste. We use our minds, because a fossil is a terrible thing to waste. Bring back the good old times; live life like it is the Late Cretaceous. We lick coprolites for science. 5 My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned. See my Arizona Paleontology Guide link The best single resource for Arizona paleontology anywhere.
