Since the US already has their "National Fossil Day", I figured it would be nice for the non-American members of TFF to see this: http://www.ipa-assoc.org/index.php/internationalfossilday

I must agree on that point - fossils deserve (require?!) daily attention, and study..

Opalised fossils are the best: a wonderful mix between paleontology and mineralogy!
