The "Fossil Week" of the 5th International Palaeontological Congress is now complete.  IPC-6 will take place in 2022.

This quadrennial event did not disappoint with 1000+ abstracts on the latest and greatest in paleontological research.

They have to wait 4 years so everyone has enough time to read everything! :P A cornucopia for everyone... Enjoy!research.gif

Can uni students participate?

Opalised fossils are the best: a wonderful mix between paleontology and mineralogy!

Of course, many of the participants are undergrad / grad students.
