I.D. Oxford Clay - potential fern leaf?

Collected from the K. jason subzone within the Lower Oxford Clay of Peterborough.

I thought it could potentially be a palm leaf due to the veins, though wood is prolific - a leaf would be atypical of marine deposits?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I agree - Pinna mitis is locally abundant in the Oxford Clay and has a rib density like that. (Martill & Hudson Fossils of the Oxford Clay Palaeontological Association handbook.)

I'm in the process of moving and my copy of Fossils of the Oxford Clay, amongst other literature, is in storage. Much more reading to do...
