It is striated on the crown in such a way to suggest that it ate hard shelled prey. Basically a shell crushing tooth.

Pictures are kinda blurry but I think I see ptychodus teeth.

These are all Ptychodus teeth. The narrow 'bar' that is the subject of the post is a lateral from the pavement.
