Multituberculate tooth?

I found this little guy sorting through some Aguja formation, late Cretaceous, matrix. It looks like a Multituberculate mammal molar on part of the jaw to me. I have shown several sides, including a cross section when the tooth broke in two as I was photographing it. Aghhh! Fortunately, I glued it back together pretty well. What do you think? The hash marks are 1mm.

Very cool looking. It looks metallic or like a fine grade chalcedony or cryptocrystalline material. What material is it?
