Hi,

 

Don't worry Ynot. In France "pterygopode" is a term exclusively booked for the male reproductive organs of cartilaginous fishes (sharks, lines/skates and ratfishes). Then imagine when I discovered on this forum that that could also be on the ratfish heads ! :headscratch::rofl:

Opalised fossils are the best: a wonderful mix between paleontology and mineralogy!
