Onslow Beach Finds

Weekend warrior

Recommended Posts

Recently moved to NC and my husband and I have have found some pretty neat things on Onslow Beach (Camp lejeune).  We would

love help identifying some of them as we are new to the world of fossil hunting.  The only one we are pretty sure on is the bottom right being a crocodile tooth?  Thanks in advance!

First picture, top left looks like a modern great white - Carcharodon carcharias or possibly a Mako - Carcharodon hastalis. It's hard to see serrations in the pictures.

center - a worn Mako or Megalodon

                         right - a worn Megalodon

bottom left - too worn to tell

                         bottom right - Croc.
