Trunk Or Stigmaria?

As the scars are raised (and complex), it looks to me to be more trunk-like.

RomanK....I'd agree with Auspex.... the attachment points for the rootlets would be too close for Stigmaria.... could it be a decorticated lepidodendron or bothrodendron?.... Thats my guess.... ;)

Thank you Auspex, I'm happy cause that is my first finding of a trunk (part of it) approx. 40 cm in diameter, I have found it this morning. Tomorrow I'm going to visit next tip
