Ptychodus04
Way back in December, I received a handful of fish from @RJB as a trade for some prep. I finally got the first one done! Here’s how it all began.. Ptychodus04
And here’s how it ended, 9 months later... It takes me a while to get around to prepping my own stuff! Ptychodus04
Thanks guys. I wouldn’t suggest trying to eat this guy. You would have to cook it a LONG time before it gets tender. Little fish are hard because their scales are to thin and one wrong move goes right through. Their bones are sensitive as well. Bulk removal (what little there was) was done with my Aro. All work was done under my microscope at 10x. 3 minutes ago, RJB said: Oh man!! A myo with both dorsal fins raised!!! The thing is,,, all these unprepped fish also belong to my 2 youngest sons. I would have to go through them and see what they want, what I want and see whats left over. There are lots and lots of slabs including some really big ones so there would be lots left over, but getting me and them all together at the fossil shed could be tuff? So if you get attached i wont get too mad? Ha!!! RB
