Ron W Davies
Could only upload one image within the max upload. I have many many photo's from different angles but not sure how to upload. The tongue appears to be encrusted in a approx 1-2mm thick crytalised substance, with areas breaking off and revealing the white. There is a larger clear crystal at the tip of the 'tongue'. There is also a spherical object, perhaps an eye, adjacent the tongue. Look forward to your responses. Best, Ron

Just from this image, I'm not seeing soft tissue fossilization, which is an exceptionally rare phenomenon under very specific conditions (such as in identified Lagerstatte Konservat areas). Instead, what I am seeing here is possibly sediments of a marine environment, possibly a steinkern of a gastropod with the larger piece on the left. ...How to Philosophize with a Hammer
Dan 1000
Hi, Soft tissue is rarely found fossilized on large animals and is nearly never found by itself. I think what you have here is a concretion that happens to look like a tongue. Hope this helps, Daniel

Fossildude19
+1 for concretion. Not a fossil tongue. Steinkern is more likely.
