So, it's me again with another Museum. This time from Berlin / Germany, visited on 14 August 2018 :)

And Berlin is all about the BIG guys.

Let's go:

Giraffatitan brancai (it's still labeled in the museum as Brachiosaurus brancai)

The tallest mouted skelleton in the world (43 ft 6 in)

Allosaurus fragilis

I think that is a very interesting idea with the real head. It gives a better understanding what these creatures looked like.

Awesome Museum:), been there twice and it looks as great as I remember. When I was there I remember there being a Spinosaurus exhibition. I’m especially fond of the Hybodus shark fossil out of the fish. The mineral exhibition was also very cool.

Life started in the ocean. And so did my interest in fossils;).

Yes the Spinosaurus exhibition was just for limited time back than. Same with Tyrannosaurus Rex exhibition now. So hurry up guys if you want to see it ;) At least until the end of the year the Tyrannosaurus Rex will stay there. Maybe longer.

What an incredible museum! Thanks for taking us along. :) Seeing the original Archaeopteryx must be a little like seeing the original Mona Lisa at the Louvre, and must have something of an "aura" like feeling when in the presence of such an iconic fossil.

Yes it really was. Very very impressive to see such an iconic fossil. :) You can see on the pictures that you can reach out and touch most of the fossils if you want to.

But the Archaeopteryx ist the only fossil that is in a seperate room covered by glas. No way to touch it. It's like "Behold,  the mighty Archaeopteryx is here"

Incredible museum! :)

What huge floorspace and height to be able to display so many dinosaurs like that.

Amazing and thanks for sharing.
