Holiday finds

Found this perfect Speeton Shrimp in the first 5 mins of my holiday ! then a new find for me is this Lobster which i need to put a name to yet both finds are from Speeton  on the Yorkshire coast UK.

That shrimp is amazing, the preservation of the surface ornament is the best I think I've ever seen.  :wub: :drool:  I can't offer any suggestions on the lobster.  Maybe a couple of views from different angles would help?

I agree with Don & Carl, best Speeton shrimp I've seen, definitely a FOTM contender! Hoploparia dentata is a possibility for the lobster (though I wouldn't know what's diagnostic for it).

Two fantastic specimens! 

And the Speeton shrimp has the best detail I've ever seen too! :wub:

Any plans on prepping that shrimp carpace a bit more?

Thank you, i was lucky it was an easy find just lying there waiting to be picked up!

They don't prep well it has just been scrubbed with a toothbrush

I'm pleased with the finds as i haven't been doing any fossil hunting this year.

Im sorry t-tree, everybody is just being nice.  Send that little lobster to me and I will dispose of it properly.  :)   Ok, just kidding.  Like all else has aready said, FOTM.   Very nice specimen indeed.
