Little critter's front door ?

I find layers like this associated with planolites. I believe it to have been an opening that was at the surface at the time.

Where in Texas was this found?

Can we get some more, well lit pictures from different angles? Top, bottom, front, back, left side, right side.

 

Cropped, brightened, and contrasted.

Possibly a burrow trace fossil.

Or could be just uneven sedimentation.
