Dromaeosaurus Teeth Real

The seller put these teeth up for sale and identifies them as unidentified Dromaeosaurus teeth with possibly one being Acheroraptor.   Looking for consensus on the identification, thank you for looking

In reading the listing I think the seller implied the generic Dromaeosaurid or Dromaeosaur and just used the wrong word in Dromaeosaurus since that is a specific species which does not exist in the Hell Creek.

Very nice teeth, a good purchase and great addition to any collection however most all the teeth look like Nanotyrannus except one which the sellers points out to be Acherorapter and a very nice one.   Good luck bidding if you go after this lot some nice teeth to be had.

 

 

Reminder what characteristics Dromaeosaurid teeth have in the Hell Creek/Lance Fm:

Very compressed

The distal serration density is visibly larger than the mesial edge

Acherorapter teeth can have vertical ridges

The distal denticles are not chisel shaped but rounded at the end

Only two species are known.. Acherorapter and Dakotaraptor

 

Small does not automatically mean Dromaeosaurid lots of juvie Nanno's running around in this fauna
