I am a new member, retired, and considering a collecting trip into Eastern Oregon next month.  I plan on spending a week in the High Desert hunting and collecting.  I am "self-contained" and am planning on living in the field or, at best, staying at a low impact camp site.  If you are interested in speaking with me about this excursion in more detail, drop me a line!
