The Amateur Paleontologist

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone,

I recently got back to my project on theropod evolution. Just to know, between the family Dromaeosauridae and the stem deinonychosaurian Caihong juji, which one is more closely related (cladistically) to Avialae?

Thanks in advance.

Opalised fossils are the best: a wonderful mix between paleontology and mineralogy!

Q. Where do dinosaurs study?

A. At Khaan Academy!...

I don’t know, but looking at the systematic history of the genus on Wikipedia, I don’t think I’m alone...
