digit
Really great detail on those pieces. Most of the Carboniferous I see tends to be small nodules from Mazon Creek. Quite often those are like puzzles trying to guess what they actually are but these are stunning. I bet they'd make stunning pieces for display. Cheers. -Ken

Plantguy
Gery! Sad to hear its the last of the season. More great finds and photos! Is this a lovely plant a fertile example or just the type of preservation I'm looking at? Regards, Chris
nala
It's the kind of preservation of this Urnatopteris herbacea
Wrangellian
Great stuff as always, Gery. I like that Cyclopteris too.. I didn't know they got that big. Why is it your last trip of the year, Does the weather not stay good much longer, or do they close the site, or your schedule doesn't allow it?
