If they are light I think Command makes a stick on wall hanger. Or maybe Velcro strips

Just make sure the contents don't fall to the bottom when you put up the riker!

If you're a fossil nut from Palos Verdes, San Pedro, Redondo Beach, or Torrance, feel free to shoot me a PM!

Here is the method I use a bit more complex but its very safe for the big rikers that can be heavy.

Made about a dozen of these mini shelves most my larger dino teeth are on the wall.

I really like those shelves Frank. They are very nice. Look pretty easy to make also.

Thanks they are easy to make especially if you do several at one time.

Ive seen these used for larger ones.  In places of the screw a bolt or epoxy

Be careful with something like this. Rikers are basically cardboard. Screws are liable to pull out of the hole if any weight is introduced to the box.

If I was to use D-rings, I would utilize a small bolt and nut combination with wide washers.

Stringing a thin picture wire through the back would also work.

edit: I just reread what you said and I suggested what you already stated. Ha!
